"A gripping, fascinating and explosive documentary"
Alongside the title design, we created a series of graphic sequences and infographics for the documentary, which uncovers the story behind what is arguably the worst “blockbuster” ever made. Adding a tragic dimension, the film was shot near Nevada’s nuclear test sites—an unfortunate choice that led to devastating consequences for many involved, and ultimately exposed an even larger story.
To reflect the era of the original production, we adopted a mid-century aesthetic with a restrained, tertiary colour palette. The end credit sequence uses pages from the comic book that accompanied the film upon its original release.
